As Washington’s Stewardship Manager, Randi supports a committed team of stewardship staff working to make our preserves incredible resilient places for nature and people. Working in shrub steppe, prairies, forests, and estuaries, the stewardship program’s fundamental goals are to make TNC’s lands focal points for exemplary management, conservation-related research, and wide-ranging community engagement.
Prior to completing a Masters at Oregon State University in the Forest Ecosystems and Society program, Randi worked on the land with a range of organizations in Washington and beyond, including EarthCorps, the US Forest Service, and the Student Conservation Association. Her curiosity about nature and people extends worldwide; she has traveled, learned, and worked in a number of places in Europe, Asia and South America. She believes strongly that all kinds of people should be able to be live in and contribute to a healthy natural world, and she works to promote inclusivity and opportunity throughout the conservation field.
